Useful tips and information about Lake Como First, it is good to know that Lake Como is very large and that this should not be underestimated. The lake is formed in an inverted Y and the most visited places like Bellagio and Varenna are in the center of the lake. Visiting all the different places can be done by taking the ferry and for more distant places there is a hydrofoil, for example from the town of Como to Bellagio. We stayed in Hotel Villa Marie, I believe that the price and quality ratio is very good about this hotel and the location is perfect. The facilities are good, the hotel offers a swimming pool with sunbeds, good parking facilities such as a parking garage and a nice breakfast. The walking distance to the ferry is 8 min and the hotel is located in the heart of Tremezzo. If you have a little more money to spend and want to experience complete luxury then I would recommend you to stay at Grand Hotel Tremezzo. This is one of the most luxurious hotels at the lake and without a doubt the most beautiful hotel we have seen so far. Restaurants: I would recommend the following restaurants Bellagio: Ristorante Suisse, Ristorante Alle Darsene di Loppia and Ristorante Bilacus. Varenna bar Il Molo, Al Prato Restaurant and restaurant Du Lac. Tremezzo Ristorante La Darsena and Ristorante La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi in Grand Hotel Tremezzo and La Cucina della Marianna located in Griante.
