Hi friends and fellows! Welcome Back to Doctor Speaks! As we have started discussing the Anatomy of Muscles of Scapular Region and we discussed the Deltoid Muscle in our previous tutorial, so now we are proceeding towards our next muscle, the Supraspinatus. The Supraspinatus is a relatively small muscle of the Scapula Region and it is one of the four muscles of the Rotator Cuff. The other three muscles that accompany the Supraspinatus in forming the Rotator Cuff are the Infraspinatus, Teres Minor and Subscapularis Muscles. These four muscles play a key role in providing dynamic stability to the shoulder joint during movements of this joint. So in this tutorial we have worked out to describe the complete Anatomy of Supraspinatus Muscle including key points such as the origin, insertion, nerve supply, vascular supply and actions performed by this muscle. We hope this tutorial is gonna help you in your studies! Thank You. For our tutorial on Anatomy of Deltoid Muscle, follow this link; • Deltoid Muscle Anatomy | Muscle of Scapula...
