The main perception of a kid that has been homeschooled is a lonely kid, stuck at home with no opportunities to socialize with other kids or adults. In reality, this is an idea that is the opposite of what some studies’ results have shown. Homeschooled kids are not only scoring higher than public schooled kids, but they are more social with not just kids, but with a diverse group of people with different backgrounds. In this video I share some of the results of the main studies performed with the homeschool community about the kids’ socialization and their role in their community.
