Ron Thorne, a masterbuilder at the Fender Custom Shop, introduces a unique California Special guitar. This offset design features a new vibrato system, a hybrid of a Strat and Jazzmaster, and a unique pickup configuration. The guitar also boasts an alder body with a light journeyman relic shoreline gold finish and a hand-rubbed boiled linseed oil neck.
