Any Game of Thrones fans out there? I know I'm woefully behind the times, but I just binge watched the entire series over the past few weeks, and now that it's over, I really miss it. I can't get the theme song out of my head. This is a portrait of Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, heroine of the show and all-around badass queen. She's beautiful and her hair is fascinating. An obvious choice among SO MANY other great faces on that show. This painting took about 3.5 hours to create, so to edit it down to a manageable length, I had to speed it up 15 to 30 times. I hope this might give you a glimpse into my painting process.
