This is a trip in ATS updated to version 1.55 and is part of the "Cruising Iowa" event celebrating the new Iowa DLC. We start at the Avalanche Steel facility in Norfolk, Nebraska. This facility is the game's version of the real life 'Nucor Steel' facility. We are carrying a "Rock Bucket Volvo SPN P T SEG" to the NAMIQ mine in Fort Dodge, Iowa. We start with the load attached at 05:14. The facility is quite large, so it takes some time to drive out to the entrance, and then west via the NE Industrial Hwy to the northbound US-81. We take this north for 20 miles before reaching US-20. We take this East 54 miles, passing the town of Laurel. On the way there is a display of antique windmills by the side of the road. We take a diversion NNE onto US-77 (but still US-20) and pass South Sioux City, then cross the Missouri River on a solid looking arch bridge - the "Siouxland Veterans Memorial Bridge". On this side of the river it is Sioux City, Iowa. We take the right turnoff onto the I-29, following the river perhaps 4 miles before taking the lane onto US-75. This goes east and NNE, before we turn back onto US-20E. It's now a 109 mile trip trending east on US-20, passing through rolling Iowa farmlands. We eventually turn north and NW onto US-169 about 6 miles, reaching the western edge of Fort Dodge. Keep on US-169 for another mile or so before turning left onto Iowa-7. Turn right onto Kelly Avenue. The NAMIQ facility is not far away. I did divert onto an alternate road going west. This heads towards the village of Manson, which has a Field Force depot (agricultural machines), I also trophy-photo hunted the Manson Crater monolith. Back at the NAMIQ facility, I drove in circles to find the parking spot. I let it auto-park to end the trip at 14:23. It was a 324 mile trip for which our driver got $14,871 and 615 XP. ***** This was driven in ATS version 1.55. The usual "Top Corner F2 mirrors" and "Minimal adviser interface for ATS and ETS2" mods were used.
