This is the sixth trip of 15 in the ATS "Cruising Texas" event in which we deliver cargo to different cities in the Texas ATS DLC, using external contracts. Minimum distance for each job is 100 miles. The 144 mile trip is to take some lumber from the Houston (Bayport) Container Terminal to the Taylor subdivision near the southern edge of Lufkin. It is 14:15 on a sunny day as he sets off. He exits the terminal by 14:28 and turns right onto Port Road then right onto SR-146. This trends north (no sign of the Fred Hartman Bridge) and NE 19.4 miles before turning west onto the I-10 just before Mont Belvieu. He takes the I-10 27.3 miles relatively close to central Houston, before turning right onto the I-69 (also US-59). This goes north 45 miles past Humble to the north side of of Cleveland, where the I-69 ends but US-59 continues. Apparently the I-69 is still being built and in this area follows the US-59 route. The US-59 keeps heading NE, crossing the Trinity River, passing the exit to US-190, Livingstone, and a big rest area on the way. About 65 miles after the I-69 ends, we turn off the highway into a suburb of Lufkin. The Taylor Construction Group signs direct you through the suburb to the new subdivision. We can pretend the suburb is Diboll and the new subdivision is Shady Grove. At the construction site it is approaching sunset as we reverse the load into a surprisingly difficult location. We finish at 17:50. Our driver gets $8,783 and 272 XP for the trip. ***** This was driven in ATS version 1.46. Mods are as follows from top to bottom in the following order: 01. Top Corner F2 Mirrors 02. Minimal Adviser Interface
