New Super Luigi U Playthrough Part 1

NOTE: Can someone clarify if noise comes out of both speakers for this video? I'm trying .mp4 files for the Wii U games. Well, it's time to begin another entry in the "New" series. As you'd expect, this Playthrough will show the game 100% with every Star Coin and Secret Exit. In this part, we complete all of Acorn Plains. These are the stages shown in this part: Acorn Plains-1 - Waddlewing Warning!: Many Waddlewings = Super Acorns! Using these to your advantage, the Waddlewing invasion isn't a big deal. Star Coin #1: Using Flying Squirrel Luigi, just fly up to this Coin. Star Coin #2: You will see this one under a moving platform. Glide down and grab it, then fly up onto the platform. Star Coin #3: Near the flagpole are a bunch of Waddlewings and the Coin. Do a running jump, then fly up with the Flying Squirrel Suit into the Coin. Acorn Plains-2: Crooked Cavern: This stage has a bunch of tilted crystal structures to jump across. It's a very short, but frightening stage. Star Coin #1: Before entering the Pipe, head to the left, where the Piranha Plant is, then walk into the wall for the first Coin. Star Coin #2: Use the nearby Red Koopa Troopa to get this one. Use its shell to destroy the blocks. The shell will also collect it. Star Coin #3: Use Luigi's gliding jump or Flying Squirrel Luigi (latter's much easier) to cross the huge gap near the exiting pipe. The Coin is right there. Secret Exit: In this hidden area with the last Coin, Ground Pound the floor (the big part on the left side) to find a new area, which leads to the hidden exit. You can only break the Blocks as a form that can take two or more hits. Acorn Plains-Cheep Cheep - Cheep Chomp Chase: This underwater stage has you swimming away from multiple Cheep Chomps. Use Fire Luigi to make things easier. Star Coin #1: When the Pipes open up to the left, a Cheep Chomp will come out. Kill it, then swim into the path to find the Coin. Star Coin #2: You'll see this Star Coin come down from a hole above. Grab it through the currents. Star Coin #3: Swim up to that hole where the earlier Coin came from, then toss the POW Block for the last Coin to drop. Acorn Plains-Tower: Flame-Gear Tower: This stage has gears and flames.. go figure. It's short, but dangerous, and it has an easy boss, Boom Boom. Star Coin #1: Go to the right when the level starts, then carefully ride the gear down, and Wall Jump up to the Coin. Star Coin #2: You'll see this Coin, trust me. When the flames disappear, quickly grab it. Star Coin #3: On the platform to the right with a Dry Bones, jump up to find a few Invisible Blocks. Use these to climb up to the last Coin. Acorn Plains-3: Rolling Yoshi Hills: This stage has a bunch of spinning grounds, Monty Moles, and of course, Yoshi. Use Yoshi to get this stage's Star Coins. Star Coin #1: Toss the nearby Koopa Troopa into this Coin to get it. Star Coin #2: Using Yoshi, bounce off the Piranha Plants under this Coin to get it. Star Coin #3: You need to save Yoshi for this one. After many rolling grounds and Monty Moles, Flutter Jump to the Coin, which is near the Flagpole. Acorn Plains-4: Piranha Heights: This stage is much easier with the Baby Yoshi nearby. It contains a LOT of Piranha Plants, which can be an annoyance. Star Coin #1: Either use the Balloon Baby Yoshi or the nearby Block to reach this Coin, which is above a platform. Star Coin #2: Either use the Yoshi or a tricky jump with Luigi to get this Coin, which is up on a ledge after a few Piranha Plants. Star Coin #3: You'll see a wide open path between two Pipes. Either use the Baby Yoshi or a tricky Wall Jump to get up to it, then enter the new Pipe. In here, you'll find a giant 8-bit Luigi. Grab the Star Coin above. Acorn Plains-5: Piranha Gardens: Sheesh, they should've called this world Piranha Plains. And as you'd expect, there's Piranha Plants everywhere. Star Coin #1: Near the Red Ring is a little ledge to the left of the tall platform. Go on it, then walk through the wall to find the Coin. Star Coin #2: Get this one at the top of the rows of Blocks, but be careful with the Hammer Bro. Star Coin #3: You will see a little piece of a platform stick out of the ceiling near the end of the stage. Jump up into it to find the last Coin. Acorn Plains-Castle: Lemmy's Lights-Out Castle: This stage is very dark, and will have very little light to help you out. Use Propeller Luigi or Flying Squirrel Luigi for the Coins. Lemmy fights the same way as he did in New Super Mario Bros. U. Star Coin #1: Jump to the swinging platform, then jump up to the smaller swinging platform and grab the Coin. Star Coin #2: Either use Flying Squirrel Luigi or Propeller Luigi to go down to get this Coin and safely get back up. Star Coin #3: In the rows of Munchers, you should see a row with a space. Jump into the space to find a hidden Pipe and the last Coin.
