@chilldude7524's PoV: • GTFO R4E1 Secondary 34:25 Speedrun @Rayalot72's PoV: • Finally, we have them all (R4E1 34:25; OLD) This former WR run has now been beaten, see: • R4E1 in 33:31 (OLD) • GTFO ALT R4E1 Speedrun 33:31 • GTFO R4E1 ALT 100% speedrun 33:31 code sea... • GTFO ALT R4E1 Speedrun 33:31 Category: Glitchless 100% Full Team (logless) This was our hardest record to obtain by far, massive credit to the previous record holders Rick, Gerz, Peter and Robert. We're very happy with this run, with it we now hold all 5 E-tier speedrun world records simultaneously, an achievement we're all proud of. The start of this run is fairly smooth, we set up a funnel for the second alarm which costs a few seconds, but we found that it makes the alarm wave timing massively more consistent. In this particular run we get a decent first bulkhead key, and our ladder-foam holds well enough that we're able to capitalize on it - Jish and Ray are both able to push for the key together. Reactor went alright. Our aim with the timing of inputting codes is to ensure that we can instantly input code 5. We found that if the code-hunters encounter nothing to slow them down then instantly inputting the codes ensures that this timing works out. In this run we get very bad locations for the Mother spawns, which slows down the players hunting for codes. For code 6 our bulkhead key is one of the worst possible. In this run it is not too big of a deal as we have the reactor code on the far terminal, but rolling a seed with both the near terminal and a better key spawn would provide some very substantial time-save. Shadows is where we get to start playing more our style. Triple Sawed-off and double Scatter lets us push these rooms ridiculously fast. We get a pretty bad spawn for our key in the second Shadows zone, we end up full clearing G and I lose a bit of time while unable to find the key spawn (we had never had a run where we had to locate this key before, so I am unaware that it spawns on the little platform). After that it is fairly smooth. I go down during the final alarm, but fighting this alarm on 15 HP is always volatile. Our double boss fight goes fine, when they spawn stacked like they do our aim is to instantly kill pMother and then kill tank if he is still foamed. In this run we don't quite kill tank, so we leave and kill him later, though he's able to snipe a down on Ray before we do so, though it barely costs any time. 00:56 Run start 02:18 S3 complete 04:39 S1 complete 07:58 Surge complete 10:01 Bulkhead key grab 12:22 Reactor start 21:50 Bulkhead key and code 6 obtained 24:52 Shadows 1 start 26:18 Stealth scan start 27:28 Shadows 2 start 29:27 Stealth scan start 30:14 S6 zone start 32:58 Bosses open 35:21 Expedition complete
