Happy Birthday Aiko! 💙 This is not only my favorite Aiko song but also one of my absolute most favorite songs in Ojamajo Doremi! Probably among my top 3, and it always makes it onto my feel-good music playlists. So I'm super glad that it was the most voted-for Aiko song in my survey! (Honestly, though, if it hadn't been, I would have ignored the survey results and just done this song for Aiko's birthday anyway. But it WAS the most voted-for Aiko song, so I'm super happy that people wanted it!) By the way, this song is not sung in Kansai dialect. There's no deep meaning behind this, it's just how the lyrics were written, but if you were wondering about a lack of accent or speaking quirks in the translation, the answer is that it was all standard Japanese to begin with. :P I hope you enjoy...! 🥰 Ojamajo Doremi # character song - Arukidasou yo ("Just Start Walking") Vocals: Senoo Aiko (Matsuoka Yuki) Lyrics: Kimoto Keiko Composition: Fukuda Gen Arrangement: Iizuka Masaaki Translations by me *Note about the credits above: I'm not entirely sure how the name of the composer, 福田元, is meant to be read; the only mention of this composer that I can find anywhere are the credits for this song and for Ice Cream Child, and the reading of his name is nowhere to be found. The most common reading of the given name is "Hajime" so that's what I've gone with, but it could also be "Gen," "Tsukasa," etc. If I find reliable information telling that his name is read differently than "Hajime" I'll make the appropriate changes in this description, though the video itself will have to remain as-is. EDIT: According to JASRAC, his name is read as FUKUDA GEN. Apologies for having it wrong when I made the video! Song not featured in any episodes. Q&A/Info→ https://owaranaimonogatari.carrd.co/ Upcoming song survey→https://forms.gle/hsY4e6yyy3cabKG68 I'm Umeko, a longtime Ojamajo Doremi fan! I'm an American expat currently living in Japan, where I teach English. Owaranai Monogatari was originally a lyrics website I created for the 15th anniversary of Ojamajo Doremi, but at the time I became too busy to keep up with website updates and ultimately I misplaced everything except the text translations! So now I'm using those text translations to create lyrics videos (color-coded where applicable). I'm experienced with fan translations but not so much with video editing, so please don't judge me too harshly on that front haha.
