CeKTER presents the newest installment of our KT Academy webinar series: "Empathy in Data Visualization" with guest speaker Alice Feng. Given the range of today's audience and stakeholders for research findings, data communicators must ensure that how they analyze and present their data, speaks to an entire array of communities. Responsible communication considers the specific lived experiences and perspectives of the people and communities we are studying and our readers will perceive how we communicate data and information. This one-hour session offered participants an opportunity to ask questions as a follow-up to Alice Feng's introductory webinar held on September 19th, 2024. Topics such as principles for creating data visualizations tailored to a variety of audiences; including ways to use language, order data, and choose color palettes and icons.
