She encourages organizations to create safe spaces for new ideas and to adopt AI solutions grounded in ethics, empathy, and respect for human well-being. She is the author of a new book called Rushing Headlong: Health IT's Legacy and the Road to Responsible AI- a book that explores the evolution of health information technology-- from internet days to the rise of generative AI -- and examines how good intentions can result in poor system design when key voices and users' preferences are overlooked.
