This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Colin Jones shared case studies and his experience for his idea of "Freedom For Me, Rules For You". Colin Jones Professor, Doshisha Law School (Kyoto) Colin Jones is mostly from Canada and is a law professor at Doshisha Law School in Kyoto as well as being an outside director and advisor to a variety of companies and institutions. With qualifications in New York, Guam and Palau, he has two decades experience as an international lawyer. He has written extensively on various aspects of Japanese law and has a monthly column in the Japan Times on cross-cultural legal issues. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
