  / starskycarr   A look at the digital artefacts generated by the Behringer WAVE and Groove Synthesis 3rd WAVE and how they process the sounds. If I compared everything it would be 95% 3RD WAVE as it does so much more. So here I'm concentrating on the raw tone when using the 3rd Wave in 'PPG Mode' ie all the modern stuff turned off, and keeping it raw. The Behringer WAVE is designed essentially to emulate the PPG almost exactly. Although it does have a few additions, overall it sticks rigidly to the PPG experience. The 3rd wave is a flexible studio centrepiece with a modern interface and comprehensive set of functions... which is reflected in the price!
