POV of climbing the second pitch on While My Drill Gently Weeps. Cochise Stronghold is an amazing climbing area to go to in the wintertime. The granite is varied, from slabby sport climbing, to trad lines with crack climbing, to tons of unique features that pop out of the rock. This climb is mostly bolted, with some opportunities for trad gear. The first pitch is a long 5.8 with lots of bolts. This second pitch is super unique, climbing up and then traversing across a crystal dike that cuts out of the granite in jagged fins. This pitch is maybe only 5.6, and the bolt spacing shows that, but the climbing is just so fun! Route info: While My Drill Gently Weeps 5.8 on Hootgoat Mountain in Cochise Stronghold, AZ. Mixed trad / sport route, mainly bolts. 600 feet, 4 pitches, one long rappel
