January 10, 2026 for the reading of Proverbs 10, 2026 The Fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom We are at day 10 of our study in the book of Proverbs. It is January 10, 2026 and we have 21 days remaining. We welcome everyone to our community and appreciate you being here. Prayer for our community Verse 1- 5 A good son will make his Father happy, but a foolish son makes his Mother unhappy Wickedness does not bring any joy, but righteousness will deliver us from death The Lord secures food for the righteous, but the wicked he will cast away their substance. Poverty arise when an individual does not work for sustenance, but those who are diligent will have more than adequate provision….rich. When there is light, we should fill our store house and such a person is considered wise. If you are not industurious due to too much sleep you are marked with shamefacedness. Verse 6-10 The righteous will have blessing upon his head, but the wicked mouth is filled with violence and the righteous shall have good memory while the name of wicked shall be removed. An individual with a wise heart receive instructions, but a fool will fall as he refuses instructions. When u walk upright you have confidence, but those who are noncompliant will be know for their deeds. One who winks his eyes indicates trouble and a fool shall fall. Verse 11-20 The righteous man has a well of life, but the wicked has a mount full of violence. Hate stirreth strife with others, but love overlooks all wrongdoing. Wisdom is found to those who has understanding, but the rod should be used for those who lacks understanding. Wise men or women has a wealth of knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is full of destruction. Rich men’s wealth is their strong city, but the poor will suffer destruction due to poverty. The righteous who labours tendeth to life, but the fruit of the wicked is a result of their sin, and he his in the way of life due to following instruction, but he that refuse instruction/reproof can create a lot of mistakes. When hatred is hidden by lying and slander is made he is seen as a fool. Too many exchange of words can cause sin, but he that keepeth his lips is a wise individual. The choice we make with our speaking is precious as silver and the heart of the wicked has no worth. Verse 21-27 The lips of the righteous can feed many, but fools will die from lack of wisdom Those who are blessed of the Lord are rich, and has no sorrow as a result of it. Mischief by the fool is taken as a joke, but those who understands has wisdom. Wicked shall come not be rewarded, but the righteous request will be granted. The wicked shall disappear as quick as the whirlwind comes and go. However the righteous foundation is forever. The taste of vinegar will make your teeth edge, while smoke will make your eves teary and so is the lazy that is among them. The fear of the Lord gives long days to those who are obedient, this is the reward of the righteous. On the other hand the days of the wicked shall be short. Verse 28-32 There is hope for the righteous with gladness, but it is expected that the wicked shall perish. The Lord gives strength to the upright, but the workers of inequity will see destruction. The righteous is established, but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth. Those who are just shows wisdom, but the mouth with a forward tongue will have it cut out. The righteous how to speak what is acceptable in the sight of God, but again the wicked will speak forwardness without reverence.
