This drill (that you do on your bed) is a variation I adapted from the Couch Stretch for people that had hardware in their knees, found it painful to kneel, or had issues achieving full flexion of their knee. This way you can start to work on your hip flexors & improve your hip extension while keeping your knee feeling happy! There are tonnes of benefits to doing this drill regularly: keeping your lower back happy, making sure your glutes working well and even just the simple act of grabbing your own foot gives you a stretch at the pecs too! Hit this one first thing in the morning when you get up and you’ll find after a few weeks your hip flexors lose that habit of feeling “stuck” or tight!
