This was recorded back in August this year, I had been watching videos from this station on youtube, and I wanted to check it out for myself. So this is my first video from my Brummie/West Midlands/Staffordshire Bash from that day at the first location - Smethwick Galton Bridge! This station has 2 levels, the WCML on the low level and the Snow Hill line on the hgiher level. Now what's really strange is that you couldn't see the low level from the high level like you could easily at Tamworth. But anyway, we saw a good few class 172's on the high level going to places like Kidderminster, Birmingham Moor Street and Stratford-Upon-Avon. I spent more time on the low level as we get more of a variety down there like 170's, CrossCountry Voyagers, Pendos, Desiros, 323's which make an epic sound, and Arriva 158's, my favourite DMU's. I've put in some annotations to show what I was thinking. Plus a Voyager blasted its horn right in my ear as it was toning for engineers. Ouch, new ears please! Enjoy!
