A day trip up to the Quantock Hills to the West Somerset Railway for their Autumn Steam Gala, a new event that hasn’t featured on the calendar for a while celebrating rail 200. The event featured 6 locos in steam and 1 diesel, during a steam gala! The 4 guest locos were 5029, ‘Nunney Castle’ arguably star of the show. LSWR T3, 563. NCB 11 and 1219, ‘Caledonia works’ which was featuring at the gala before overhaul at Williton, she mostly was on freight demonstrations at Minehead.
