MAN Huddle: 15/05/25 Topic: An introduction to problem structuring With Steven Wyatt (Strategy Unit) We are delighted to welcome back, Steven Wyatt, Head of Research and Policy at the Strategy Unit, who will introduce the concept of problem structuring, an essential skill for healthcare analysts. Problem structuring involves working with managers, clinicians and other stakeholders to reach a shared view about the problem(s) that need to be addressed and the nature of any analysis that might help. When done well, problem structuring increases the chance that an analysis will lead to service improvements. Steven will describe three simple frameworks that healthcare analysts might use in conversations with customers of their analysis.
