Moderator: 🗣️ Andrew O’Grady Featured Panelists: 👩‍⚕️ Dr. Wendy Freedman – Clinical Psychologist & Director, Vassar College Counseling Service With over 21 years of experience in college counseling, Dr. Freedman specializes in group therapy, suicide prevention, disability advocacy, and social justice concerns. She has presented at national conferences and contributed to book chapters on best practices for college counseling, co-leadership in therapy, and disability-affirmative group work. 👩‍⚕️ Dr. Amy Novatt – Board-Certified OB-GYN & Health Consultant A practicing gynecologist for 25 years, Dr. Novatt now offers consulting services to help women integrate lifestyle and science for better health. She is the creator and host of GynoCurious, a podcast exploring the meaning of healing in women’s wellness. 🧠 Erik Garnica Aguilar – Board-Certified Psychologist & Psychoanalyst Erik Aguilar brings over 12 years of expertise in psychoanalysis, stress reduction, and evidence-based counseling. Currently working with Mental Health America of Dutchess County as a language specialist care manager, he also runs a private practice. Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, he has a background in education and psychological care. Karen Marder, LCSW (she/her) In her role as Executive Director of Dutchess County Pride Center, Karen supervises all of Dutchess County Pride Center’s programs and operations. She is actively involved in the day to day running of Dutchess County Pride Center, including running numerous groups, overseeing the Youth Board and working directly with program facilitators and volunteers. She is also the Co-Chair of the Poughkeepsie Pride March and Festival. Karen received her Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licenced Clinical Social Worker. She has spent the majority of her career working to better the lives of youth, particularly LGBTQ+ youth and their families. She has worked in the non-profit sector for most of her career.
