Today I tried running 4 miles for the first time as a total beginner runner. Most of my runs usually stay around 3 miles, so pushing to 4 felt like a real milestone for me. I didn’t know how my body would respond, but I wanted to challenge myself and see how far I could go. This run took place on a new paved trail I discovered in Ansonia, Connecticut called the Naugatuck River Greenway. The trail runs from Ansonia through Derby and into Shelton. I parked at BJ’s Wholesale in Ansonia, ran about 2 miles past Derby into Shelton, then turned around to complete the full 4-mile run. I’m proud of this run. I’m still learning pacing, endurance, and how to listen to my body, but running has already had a positive impact on me both physically and mentally. This felt like real progress, and I’m excited to keep improving. If you’re a beginner runner too, where are you in your journey right now? 📌 Chapters: 0:00 Intro 0:31 Getting Ready 1:37 Starting the Run 4:17 1 mile completed 6:34 Downtown Derby Connecticut 7:00 Downtown Shelton Connecticut 7:35 2 mile completed 8:38 When should I drink water? 9:44 3 mile completed 11:29 4 mile completed 11:59 Outro Join this channel to get access to perks: / @keedovlogs
