This video features a warning strobe lights installation on a new 2020 Ford Explorer ST. In the video, we start with the lights off to demonstrate the stealth appearance of the smoked lenses on our warning strobe lights. The smoked lenses are an in-shop modification and can be completed at our location. As you can see in the video, when the new warning strobe lights are turned off, they remain hidden in the front of the vehicle. We used our LIN-6 warning strobe lights in the front of this new Explorer. The owner of this vehicle requested that we drill as few holes as possible for this install, so we mounted the LIN-6 using 3M VHB tape, Primer 94 and a bit of RTV silicone. Watch the video for more details about where we grabbed the power for the new warning strobe lights and to see where we ran our wiring through the firewall. In the rear of this Explorer, we've added our Thin-X TIR series amber-white warning strobe lights in the back opera windows. We mounted the Thin-X's to the windows using clear VHB tape for a damage-free installation. In the back window, we've added our 6-head Wicked Slick Stick LED Light Bar flashing an amber-white alternating pattern. The Slick Stick also includes our popular flood mode feature. In the turn signal and reverse light housing, we've added our LED HAW DUO flashing in an amber-white X-pattern. We've added two 3/4" Flush Mount Rocker Switches to control all of the warning strobe lights on this vehicle. Both switches feature a full illumination so they are easily noticed by the driver. One switch activates all of the warning strobe lights and the other activates the flood mode on our Wicked Slick Stick LED Light Bar.
