Living with chronic illness means letting go of so much and coming to terms with all he things you can no longer do. Its been a long road of acceptance for me that's ongoing, as I've learned to manage my ME/CFS and PoTS and work out what I can still do with my life. In this video, I reflect on the ways I've tried to balance my life as I've learned pacing and energy management, how I've tried to prioritise my work and health, bringing me to the point I'm at now, where I've realised I have to stop trying to get my life back and instead let my old life and the old me go, and rebuild a new life within my current chronic illness limits instead.
