So many coins and relics dug up at this long ago deserted home site from the 1700s and 1800s. With my Fisher F19 metal detector right from the start it was a coin from the 1700's and it just did not stop and that is why I kept going back. All that remains of this abandoned place is the cellar hole, rock walls and a small piece of improved land. It took some time to find this overgrown location with constant exploring and reading the landscape history. Finding old places like this metal detecting is rare these days and the place was untouched and loaded. Old copper coins like KGII, US large cents, CT copper and more. Lots of old clothing buttons like dandy size and everything in-between, Shoe buckles, tools, spoons, knives....and so much more. The stone walls gave me the clues when it came to figuring out this place and it was amazing . Places that have not been metal detected ar non stop action and something to really enjoy , not to mention the history of it all.
