The "2025 Hong Kong Interior Design Week" is set to grandly open at LOFT @ Superstudio Più in Milan, Italy, organized by the Hong Kong Interior Design Association (HKIDA). Among the featured exhibits, the "Incanto di Hong Kong" bar cabinet will bring you a dual journey of visual and emotional urban exploration! The "Incanto di Hong Kong" bar cabinet is inspired by Walter Koditek's photography of Hong Kong, designed by Eugenia You from Bill's Design Limited and produced by CycleCore Limited, aiming to pay tribute to Hong Kong's history and urban textures. The designers have perfectly integrated the traditional craftsmanship of Chinese joinery with innovative technology, creating a piece that is both modern and nostalgic. The front of the bar cabinet features laser-printed wooden door panels, with textures inspired by the cement ventilation blocks commonly found in Hong Kong architecture, preserving the unique features and historical traces of these urban buildings. The square opening in the center of the cabinet cleverly guides people to peek inside, adding a sense of mystery and the joy of exploration. "Incanto di Hong Kong" is not only a tribute to Hong Kong's history but also an active practice of sustainable development. The design team collaborated with Hong Kong's new technology material development company Cycle Core, using eco-friendly stone material technology and incorporating recycled glass donated by the Hong Kong Tramways, making this piece of furniture truly embody the spirit of Hong Kong in both aesthetics and materials.
