We are one week away from tapping trees and we have lots to get done before then! Today we are up at the cabin revamping our evaporator and building the make shift sugar shack. We had plans to build an actual sugar shack this year but time gota way from us so we are doing an enhanced version of last years hut. With the mild temperatures at home, we are off to a good start with 100L of sap already collected and next week we will be tapping 40+ trees at the cabin!
