Chasing mangrove jack and cod in the Pumicestone Passage

Nolsy and I set out to chase mangrove jack in the Pumicestone Passage on the incoming tide. We set off first to get live bait and caught an assortment of mullet, herring, and silver biddies. Then we headed off to our favourite spot. we were rewarded for the day with 1 jack, 2 cod, and a couple of bream. The main gear I was using was the new/yet to be released unnamed 6 inch stainless backed Alvey Admiral series loaded with Atomic Linez braid on a custom made Butterworth FMT108H rod, size 3 bean sinker, size 6 Gamakatsu Hyper Swivel, Atomic Linez Fluro leader and a snelled rig of 1 x size 4/0 and 1 x size 5/0 Gamakatsu Octopus SE 4 x strong Nano Alpha hooks.
