Filming Dates: Saturday 12th July 2025 & Friday 18th July 2025 Filming Locations: Ormskirk station & Spital station Some footage of Merseyrail B.R. Class 777 E.M.U.s during my holiday to England in July. On the Saturday 12th, 777142 is seen departing Ormskirk station platform 1 with the 08:21 service to Hunt's Cross, with a friendly 1-tone horn from the driver. Then 777039 is seen arriving at platform 1 with the early 08:30 ex-Hunt's Cross service. The train is then seen departing shortly after with the 08:36 service to Hunt's Cross. On Friday 18th, 777041 is seen arriving at Spital station platform 2 with the 16:49 arrival of the 16:30 service from Liverpool Central to Chester. After departing at 16:50, 777041 crosses paths with 777012 heading in the other direction, arriving at platform 1 with the 16:49 arrival of the 16:27 service from Chester to Liverpool Central. Then the train departed on time at 16:50. I personally really like these modern E.M.U.s but I do wish I could have seen the older Merseyrail trains before they were retired.
