I struggled here with exercising adequate throttle control to manage my lean angle. This is why I practice…. At the end, when I crashed, I had managed to finally get my 2 down shifts which raised the RPM much higher. However, I failed to get the throttle open to that RPM to maintain my lean angle. Not opening the throttle, the bike slowed down, tightened its radius, and I fell over. Had I managed to open the throttle I would’ve been able to hold the line. I solved one problem and created another. I did notice this: Ocho (nsf100) has an actual quarter turn throttle, which is actually a lot. As I rode the track in earlier sessions, I was failing to open the throttle fully on a lot of faster sections. It may be helpful for me to look for a 1/8 turn throttle instead. It’s not like i have to modulate a 100+ hp range here. Currently, I have to move my wrist a lot, and I was having some problems with that range of motion. Pencil grip technique on the throttle will also solve this. And is the better technique, IMO.
