While I have had several of these I have never had this issue. The wipers will not go into park or the wipers stay up. This is a common issue on firebirds, trans am and camaro where the wipers will not go down. Unfortunately it requires you to replace the wiper motor. In this video I show you how to replace the wiper motor and I also take this time to clean up the trim around the glass. These things are getting older and replacement parts are hard to find. This one needed some love on the trim so I put some dressing on after a good cleaning. The wiper cowl now looks brand new. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......
