The historic region in the central part of Ukraine, in the Dnipro valley. The relict forest Kholodny has already became the primary spot for thousands of travelers as well as Yar and the rocky canyon, unique for the steppe Ukraine on the river Hirskyi Tikych. The region preserves historic sites and buildings of various periods: Scythian mounds and ancient settlements, medieval churches and monasteries, magnificent palaces and estates of the tzar period. The well-known dendrological park Sofiyivka and the largest architecturally decorated landscape park of Ukraine Alexandria are the beautifier of the Dnipro region.
