Pekoe Trail Stage 06  Watagoda to Kotagala Pekoe  Trail is 300+ km walking trail through central highlands of Srilanka covering Beautiful tea estates , Scenic  locations and historical places. It connects three districts Kandy , Badulla and Nuwara Eliya . Trail is divided in to 22 stages Starting from Hantana and end at Pedro Estate , Nuwara Eliya  Stage 06 is from  Watagoda to Kotagala which is little more than 15 km . Trail runs through magical tea estates of Kotagala. Great western mountain range is adding colours to this stage . Probably this the stage where most percentage of the trail is covered with tea estates ( stages 01 -06 ) Special feature of this stage is that you have to ascend and descend 3 prominent peaks in latter part of the trail . But elevation fluctuates within 1200 - 1350 m . So better to manage your time without wasting time in the beginning.
