In this video, we'll see some of my favorite Soo Line and Canadian Pacific clips that I haven't posted from 2009. We'll start off seeing Transfer One working New Brighton with a matched pair of former Milwaukee units; an EMD GP38-2 and a GP40. This was the ONLY time I ever caught a matched pair of 'bandits' on this job. After this, we'll see Transfer one again, but shoving back to New Brighton with a Soo caboose leading the shove. After seeing a few views of Transfer One, we'll see a few Dresser Turns; both loaded and empties with solid EMD power leading the way. These trains used to always rate classic EMD power and solid sets of Soo and Milwaukee Road hoppers. The last part of this video features the CPBN Transfer, Humboldt Ave Transfer, and an inspection train lead by a GP9. One of the CPBNs has another Milwaukee Road bandit, Soo 2057, trailing as they depart Northtown Yard in run 8. Its amazing how much the railroad scene has changed around here since 2009. Enjoy this nice throw back action to how it used to be! Copyright 2019 Douglas Hildebrandt, all rights reserved.
