State of Standard: Top 5 Decks right now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kb1I1... ry day, so rather than give you one deck, I've worked out three different options to really give you an idea of what we can do with Hedron Alignment in this format! Deck #1: Budget U/B Alignment (main deck $35) 4 Hedron Alignment 4 Oath of Jace 4 Monastery Siege 3 Clash of Wills 2 Void Shatter 4 Grasp of Darkness 1 Ruinous Path 3 Murderous Cut 2 Languish 2 Despise 4 Dig Through Time 1 Tasigur 26 Lands This is the most straightforward of the 3 decks. A classic U/B control shell allows us to control the board with counterspells and removal while we draw cards and align our hedrons. Use Oath of Jace and Monastery Siege to draw cards and drop Alignments into your yard, and use Dig Through Time, Murderous Cut, and Tasigur to delve away an Alignment from your graveyard. Deck #2: Align the Stars 4 Hedron Alignment 3 Starfield of Nyx 4 Monastery Seige 4 Oath of Jace 1 Sigil of the Empty Throne 4 Silkwrap 4 Stais Snare 2 Pacifism 2 Quarantine Field 1 Planar Outburst 4 Dig Through Time 2 Treasure Cruise 25 Lands This deck is a little more unexpected, but playing Starfield does a few things for us. Considering Alignment, Monastery Siege, and Oath of Jace are all Enchantments, it stands to reason they would interact well with Starfield, and Starfield gives us another path to victory apart from just aligning hedrons. We play 12 enchantments that can remove creatures, so turning on the Starfield is no problem. Even when the Starfield is still asleep, we can pull any enchantments we've discard out of the graveyard, allowing us to have a steady stream of removal and card draw. Deck #3: Esper Alignment 4 Hedron Alignment 4 Jace, Vrynn's Prodigy 2 Tasigur 1 Dragonlord Ojutai 2 Oath of Jace 4 Dig Through Time 3 Clash of Wills 3 Void Shatter 3 Grasp of Darkness 2 Silkwrap 2 Murderous Cut 2 Utter End 1 Languish 1 Ojutai's Command 26 Lands This is basically a supercharged version of the budget U/B deck. Jace is a very effective upgrade, allowing us to burn through cards faster, discard Alignments, recast spells, make creatures smaller, or even outright win us the game sometimes. We get to play the excellent Ojutai's Command, and we also add Utter End to our removal suite. Dragonlord Ojutai is another huge addition to the deck, giving us another win condition that also incidentally helps us gather Alignments. Sideboard Options to consider: Dispel, Duress, Despise, Disdainful Stroke, Ultimate Price, Hallowed Moonlight, Surge of Righteousness, Self-Inflicted Wound, Arashin Cleric, Infinite Obliteration, Virulent Plague, Planar Outburst The Deck Tech Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
