Phraya Nakhon Cave Thailand is one of the most incredible natural attractions near Hua Hin. In this video, Marilou and I take you on the full journey to see the famous Kuha Karuhas Pavilion hidden inside the cave. We negotiated a taxi just outside La Casita Condominium in Hua Hin and agreed on 1600 THB (about $45 USD) for the trip to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. Instead of the songthaew taxis we expected, our driver surprised us with a private SUV with air conditioning. After about an hour drive south, we arrived at the park entrance. The national park fee was 200 THB per person, and the short boat ride cost 200 THB each to reach the beach where the hike begins. The hike up to Phraya Nakhon Cave is definitely strenuous, climbing rocky paths through the jungle. But once you enter the cave and see the Kuha Karuhas Pavilion illuminated by sunlight, the view is absolutely unforgettable. We explored the entire cave—stalagmites, stalactites, cairns, and even sticks placed under rocks as part of local superstition. Was it worth 1600 THB for the taxi? Absolutely.
