In concrete products in general and in those placed underground or in the vicinity of aquifers, in particular a constructive detail, moreover indispensable, such as the formwork spacers consisting of PVC tubulars, usually about 21 mm in diameter internal, constitutes a dangerous element of discontinuity, permeation and infiltration. In fact, the water finds inside the tubular elements (even in the presence of the usual closure plugs) an easy way of access and infiltration capable of seriously affecting the hermetic seal of the product.
