I miscalculated the final depth and had to go another eight inches deeper than planned. That meant more time on the breaker, more time switching between attachments, and more time moving rock out of the way—one bucket at a time. Working alone with one machine makes every step slower, but there’s no shortcut when you’re building your forever home from the ground up.
