Who said it had to always be jazz and pop? Even if it's for a little while, I definitely think the original duology of Persona 1 & 2 (as well as Eternal Punishment) deserve some of your attention; especially the PSP versions that had some stellar revisions in its soundtrack. Here's a harder take on 'A Lone Prayer', heard in the PSP version of the first Persona title, sung by Yumi Kawamura; except now with more Meguro-adjacent rock. Enjoy, and as always, please do let me know what you want to hear next - I'm happy to take any and all suggestions for future tracks to tackle. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ~ FAQ for transparency ~ Q: Is AI used here? A: Yes; these uploads are AI-assisted versus one-click AI outputs. AI is part of the process, but it is not the sole source of the musical ideas or final structure. Q: Where do the musical ideas come from? A: The core musical ideas come from existing material: MIDI I have worked on myself, MIDI sourced elsewhere, and/or the original track used as a reference. AI is not used to invent a completely new composition from nothing. Q: What is your workflow, in plain terms? A: My usual process looks like this: ‣ I start from existing musical material (MIDI and/or the original track as a reference) ‣ I use Suno to explore variations, sounds, and complexity based on that material ‣ I extract stems and tracks and bring them into FL Studio 11 ‣ I manually rearrange, edit, layer, and process everything using plugins (EQ, compression, reverb, saturation, etc.) ‣ I apply a final polish/master pass, often via BandLab for speed and consistency The final arrangement, structure, and mix decisions are made manually. Q: Why use AI at all? A: AI allows me to access certain sounds, layers, and timbres that I cannot easily recreate with the soundfonts, VSTs, and plugins I currently have. It helps speed up experimentation, while the creative direction and final result remain human-driven. Q: What software do you use? A: FL Studio 11 (DAW), Suno (assistance tool), plugins and VSTs, BandLab (mastering), Photoshop (thumbnails), CapCut (video editing). Q: What if I do not like AI-assisted music? A: That's completely fair. You are welcome to share your thoughts respectfully. Harassment, dogpiling, or personal attacks are not welcome. I reserve the right to remove comments and/or block users to keep this a fun and enjoyable space for everyone. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ As someone who worked with music long before AI tools existed, I strongly encourage supporting musicians and composers who create music from the ground up. Whether if it's MIDI, soundfonts, or live performances, that human creativity is irreplaceable. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ #persona #revelationspersona #atlus #sega #remix #vgm #soundtrack #cover #rearrange #videogamemusic #persona30thanniversary
