The time has come for the official opening of the new and improved Ponden Station! If there’s one thing I’ve learnt from this, it’s that I need some sharper scissors. There are still a few bits and pieces to add to the scene, but for now it’s time to take a little break from the scenic side of things. A very shiny and clean Class 27 makes its debut on the layout this week - it will not stay that way for long. I’m sure everyone watching this will be will aware of the story, but just in case, check out the link below to give the Market Deeping Model Railway Club some help after their priceless layouts and stock were completely destroyed by mindless vandals before the Stamford show.
