Course 5, Parts 3 - 5: 3 – Code machines. Part 4 – Space and depth keys. Part 5 – Pinning the locks. Once you have your system planned out, you could grab a vise and clamp your key blanks in to file them them all by hand, but stick around for this section of our video and learn how to use a code machine to make life easier. Next, you will learn about space & depth keys and then it is time to start pinning your locks. We will use bottom pins, master pins, and top pins for our keyways. See the course 5 playlist. If you have customers in commercial, industrial, or government industries, you will most likely be working with a master key system. In this course we teach you how to create and maintain locks keyed to allow multiple different cut keys to access them. How the program works: The LocksmithDVD training program currently offers 28 different courses. Courses 1–8, focus on basic locksmithing skills. The first 8 Courses are now available on YouTube. Each with its own dedicated playlist. Courses 9–22 cover Advanced Skills, while an additional six courses cover Automotive Locksmithing. See all of our courses at www.LocksmithDVD.com. We are continuously uploading more courses to YouTube as time allows. *DISCLAIMERS* While we strive to make the information provided in our videos as accurate as possible, we make no claims, promises, or guarantees about the accuracy, completeness or applicability of the content.
