Jim and Debbie share every single detail of their build, from the genius DIY roof raise and custom composting toilet to their full-sized appliances and massive off-grid power system. The Bus: Bluebird Activity Bus with an 8.3L Cummins Diesel (Rear Engine) and an Allison 5-Speed push-button transmission. Unique Features: Cruise control and a 10-setting retarder for safe mountain driving without using the brakes. The Build: Jim completed a full roof raise using the 7/8" all-thread method.
