Boulevardier with an Absinthe Rinse (and ramblings)

After the Sazerac, I was inspired to make this. One of the members of the Negroni family, the Quill, is a negroni with an absinthe rinse, which got me thinking,  what about a Boulevardier with an absinthe rinse? Ingredients: 2 oz Bourbon or Rye 2 oz Campari 2 oz Sweet Vermouth ¼ oz absinthe 1 piece of Lemon Peel Chill a martini glass or coupe. Add ice, Bourbon or Rye, Campari, and Sweet Vermouth to a mixing glass. Stir until well combined and chilled. Add absinthe to the chilled martini/coupe glass, swirling until all internal surfaces of the glass are coated in absinthe. Dump excess absinthe. Strain cocktail into chilled absinthe-rinsed glass.
