In this beginners guide tutorial video I share the important points you need to know about your first RCIA OCIA Confession or Rite of Reconciliation, that will put you into the State Of Grace required for you to be confirmed into the Catholic Church & receive the Eucharist. Having just done my first confession a couple of days ago, and been confused about what sins to include, how many, how far to go back, how to find out what sins were mortal, and concerned about wanting to get my confession RIGHT, I thought this video would help others in my position and perhaps those returning to the Church after a long time away. Key points are that the Holy Spirit will guide you through this process as you try and remember as many Mortal Sins as you can that you have done since your Baptism. By using the guides (links above) it's relatively easy to start thinking about the various ages and stages of your life and going through the Ten Commandments & Precepts of the Church so you can identify your sins. By using these guides you'll be identify WHAT Mortal Sins you need to include & HOW MANY & MUCH to include (all that you can remember!).
