Expanding Our Awareness of God | How-to-Live Talk With Meditation

How can we steadily progress on the spiritual path, each day taking that next step towards our ultimate goal — the realization of our oneness with God’s blissful omnipresence? In this video, Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Prafullananda conveys wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how we can indeed reach that goal, as we lessen our sense of our perceived limitations and develop a greater awareness of the Divine within us and around us. Looking through the lens of mortal human consciousness, we are aware of alternating light and darkness, pleasure and suffering. But by attuning our lives with the cosmic consciousness of God through meditation and right activity as taught in all the world’s scriptures, we can experience a higher reality. This talk, which includes a period of meditation, was recorded at the SRF Temple in Fullerton, California, in January 2022.
