Regarding the tying itself, the hook size chosen here does not allow the use of the 2 CDC rachis to split the wings, so it is preferable to position the 2 CDC feathers on top of each other beforehand. If you tie it from a size #14, you can use the 2 rachis and the feathers can be positioned next to each other, which will facilitate splitting. If I am satisfied with the final quantity of fibers (Coq de Leon and CDC) for each wing, I did not see however that the 2 tips are on a single wing... the fish may not care , but that's before to fold the rachis that it is necessary to take care of it...! as I said this will be much more visible on a larger hook size with feathers positioned facing each other... I preferred to show you this pattern, I find it more interesting to talk about the points to improve and the different techniques used to avoid errors... You can also choose to fold the wings even more when going up with the tying thread or during the whip finishing. Finally for the body, if you choose not to make the very slippery silk not too waxed, it will remain shinier and of a lighter color: personally I like this translucent rendering of a waxed silk, the color is more matte , deeper, more natural for my taste... Ghjanto   / ghjacumu_anto   🇫🇷 Une bonne olive à ailes séparées ,en matériaux naturels ,à flottaison basse et bien équilibrée , qui couvrira beaucoup de situations ,en présence de Medium Olive ,Baetis Rhodani, ou autres BWO, et que l'on pourra décliner en différentes tailles d'hameçons bien sûr. Concernant son montage, la taille d'hameçon choisie ici ne permet pas d'utiliser les 2 rachis de CDC pour séparer les ailes , aussi il est préférable de positionner au préalable les 2 plumes de CDC l'une sur l'autre. Si vous la montez à partir d'une taille #14 , vous pourrez utiliser les 2 rachis et les plumes pourront être positionnées l'une à coté de l'autre ,ce qui facilitera la séparation . Si je suis satisfait de la quantité finale des fibres (Coq de Leon et CDC) pour chaque ailes ,je n'ai pas vu en revanche que les 2 pointes se trouvent sur une seule aile... les poissons n'y verront peut être rien , mais c'est avant de rabattre le rachis qu'il faut y veiller...! comme je l'ai dit cela sera beaucoup plus visible sur une taille plus grande avec des plumes positionnées face à face ... J'ai préféré vous montrer ce montage car je trouve cela plus interessant de parler des points à améliorer et des différentes techniques à utiliser pour éviter les erreurs... On pourra également choisir de rabattre encore plus les ailes en remontant avec le fil de montage ou durant le whip finishing. Enfin pour le corps, si vous choisissez de ne pas trop poisser la très glissante soie de montage , elle restera plus brillante et d'une couleur plus claire :personnellement j'aime ce rendu translucide d'une soie poissée ,la couleur est plus mate ,plus profonde, plus naturelle à mon goût...
