In Day 4, I arrive into big beautiful Savant Lake, the north arm of which is remote, pristine back country. But the wind is up on the big lake, and I get wind bound by early afternoon, but it turns into a stroke of good luck - I find an excellent campsite. No rain and I am cooking with wood and fire - ya! I show one of my favourite bush trekking meals: Dehydrated baked beans, with dehydrated ground beef, and fixings.
