The Cloud 6 has brought in a few key changes that you can't really see without wearing both of these shoes. For example, On reworked the midsole which gives it a slightly different ride and they increased the upper volume and width in the 6. (my opinion) 5:16 On Cloud 6 Sizing and Fit 6:09 On Cloud 6 Midsole Compression 7:26 Final Remarks: Have Qs? Overall, I like the On Cloud 6 better than the 5. It feels wider and I like the midsole tweak from an outdoor use context. The 6 will still pick up rocks here and there, but I've noticed it's far less and mostly limited to the midfoot. The 5 is good, but again, if you're wanting more toe box room and space in your shoes, then I'd say spend a little more for new.
