I chose to keep the natural bark edge to preserve the organic character of the wood, and I left the natural cracks as part of the story and beauty of this piece. Walnut wood has a unique grain, color, and soul — and instead of hiding its imperfections, I embraced them. Every crack, texture, and detail makes this bowl one of a kind.
