This animation explores different methods for collecting data as well as the different types of information longitudinal studies ask their participants to provide. This animation is part of a series of five films designed to teach non-experts the basics of longitudinal studies. Each animation relates to a key section of the CLOSER Learning Hub (https://learning.closer.ac.uk), our online educational resource which aims to help those new to longitudinal studies better understand the value of these studies and how to use the data.
